Aaron Dorfman, former guitarist and vocalist for Chicago’s own Henhouse Prowlers, has traveled the world playing guitar; from Kenya to Kyrgyzstan, Ireland to Pakistan and a whole host of incredible places in between. With a flatpicking style strongly inspired by Bryan Sutton, David Grier and Doc Watson alike, Dorfman strives to inject as much energy as possible into the music he creates, writes and performs.
Hailing from Southwest Chicago, Pete Smith is a high-energy, progressive 5-string banjo player specializing in the three-finger or Scruggs style. At a young age, Pete began his banjo journey studying under Grammy nominated, Greg Cahill at Chicago’s acclaimed Old Town School of Folk Music and has spent the years since perfecting his technical sound and unique style while captivating the hearts of fans and audience members across the region.
