About the Artist

That 90’s Show

Get your overalls and bucket hats ready because we are bringing back a sold-out favorite, but with all new songs – That 90’s Show!

Hey Nonny’s first sell-out was our first Café Carly cabaret show — featuring Chicago’s most talented young musical theater performers, wrangled into a uniquely themed show by hometown girl (and former NYC cabaret performer) Carly Stocking. Every Café Carly presents different songs, performers, and jokes, but every one is a polished, high-energy songfest for delighted crowds.

Featuring:
Jeffrey Poindexter on piano and Joseph Wolfe on drums.
Neil Stratman (he/him/his) lived life to the fullest in the 90’s. Whether he was destroying a Chuck E. Cheese in a Chicago Bulls windbreaker, tearing up the roller rink to look cool, or screaming his heart out with the Backstreet Boys over a girl he had never met, the 90’s were what shaped the weirdo that you all have to listen to today. His favorite Chicago credits are all the times he has performed here, so he can win favor with whomever is reading this. Stalk him at neilstratman.com and @neilio77 on insta.
Carly Stocking is an Arlington Heights native and received her BFA in Acting from Illinois Wesleyan University. She has performed across the US, spending five years in New York City producing, directing, and performing in cabarets. When not performing on stage, she is co-owner of the Arlington Heights-based children’s theatre company Setting the Stage and also runs a vintage clothing shop.
Tommy Thurston is so stoked to be back at Hey Nonny! Chicago credits: The Sound of Music (Marriott Theater), Captain Hammer in Dr. Horrible (Black Button Eyes), Edward Bloom in Big Fish (BoHo Theatre) *Jeff Nom for Leading Actor in a Musical*, Robert Kincaid in The Bridges of Madison County (Theo Ubique) *Jeff Nom for Leading Actor in a Musical*, Starbuck in 110 in the Shade (BoHo). Tommy has also been seen in productions with Writer’s Theatre, Broadway in Chicago, Theatre at the Center, and Music Theater Works. Special thanks to Ryan and the girls! Proudly represented by Shirley Hamilton. @t_h_u_r_s_t_o_n, www.tommywilliamthurston.com
Lara Allison is thrilled to return to Hey Nonny this summer! A graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy, Lara is a senior studying musical theater at Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Her favorite roles include Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Paquette in Candide!, and Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical the Musical. A big shout out to Mom, Dad, and TJ for their endless support!
Laz Estrada as guest singer.
