About the Artist

Katherine Nagy released her debut EP “Gypsy Lady” in March 2017.  This was followed by the release of a full-length album “Heartsongs” in 2018 and multiple EP’s and Single releases.  She is currently working on her 2nd full length album which will be released in Fall 2022.  

Katherine was raised in Ireland, so you will hear a slight Celtic influence combined with her love of folk in her songs.  Her lyrics are authentic and her delivery sincere with lyrics reflecting on love, hope, dreams, motherhood and finding purpose.  

Her style has been compared to Alison Kraus, Dolly Parton, Stevie Nicks and Norah Jones – however she has created her own unique musical style based on her own travels and life.

She has won the Central Indiana Folk Writing Contest both in 2021 and 2020.  Her song “Lay With Me” was voted top 20 songs of 2019 on the award winning “Irish & Celtic Music Podcast”.  

Katherine is joined by Austin Johnson and Bethany Robinson.  The Katherine Nagy Trio recently opened up for national touring artist Gabe Dixon in McCordsville, IN in September 2021 and will open for Willy Porter in Indianapolis, IN this November 2022.
