About the Artist

Jason Walsmith calls himself a racontourist – yes, a totally made up, beautiful mish mash of two words: “raconteur” is a person who tells anecdotes in an amusing way and “tourist” – a person who is traveling or visiting a place for pleasure.

Jason spent 28 years living the racontourist lifestyle as the co-lead singer of his band, The Nadas. As a solo artist, Jason fancies himself both a musician and a storyteller.
