JON ROGERS – Mya-Moe Ukulele Artist

Jon is a ukulele player, songwriter and bassist who performs regularly with Chicago-based bands the Sofa Kings, Barrett’s Hidden Agenda, and Jack Salamander.

Jon also freelances as a session and live artist on bass and ukulele, and in his 40+ year career has played alongside many of rock and jazz’s greatest artists, has served as the musical director for Princess Cruises, and has most recently recorded for Billboard’s No. 1 Hot 100 single artist of all time; Chubby Checker (“Lookin for Me” 2016).

Part of generations-deep family of professional musicians; Jon attended the Berklee College of Music; was Miles Davis bassist Ron Carter’s first student at the City College of New York; was the Musical Director for Princess Cruises’ Love Boat Orchestra, and has performed on thousands of records, jingles, and live performances.

Jon is very excited to bring his Ukulele Show, backed by an All-Star band to Hey Nonny, and promises an exciting and fun-filled evening!
