Shelter Youth & Family Services, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is on a mission to create a world where every child grows up in a safe and nurturing home and end the cycle of child abuse through a comprehensive network of support to children, their families, and the community. Shelter is the only agency in the state of Illinois to provide fully comprehensive and community-based services for children and families at risk and in need.
