StumpWater is currently celebrating the February 2019 release of an album originally recorded in 1973 but never released: Motel In Saginaw.
Formed in Aurora, Illinois in the early ‘70s, StumpWater is a post-Woodstock era folk-rock band that originally gigged throughout the Fox Valley and Chicagoland. Featuring great original songs with rich harmonies in the tradition of CSNY/Simon and Garfunkel, and edgy lyrics reminiscent of Bob Dylan, the band’s music ranges from heartfelt ballads to introspective melodies to good old rock and roll.
Today, StumpWater features founding members Joe Gloor and Dan Berg along with the newly added talents of Arlington Heights’ own Bonnie and Ron Cimo. The band will perform songs from Motel in Saginaw, some new originals, and a variety of their favorites from the last four decades!
Come on out and enjoy this incredible story of rediscovery and renewal with StumpWater.
