About the Artist

The Bergamot is comprised of Brooklyn based husband-wife duo Nathaniel Hoff and Jillian Speece. They are high-school sweethearts who fell in love in the heartland. These indie-folk rock singer-songwriters combine folk harmonies, 60’s coastal rock vibes, with modern snyths. People magazine said The Bergamot is, “The hottest emerging music talent” (People) and “a gorgeous sound” (Daily Mirror). In 2018 they won an Emmy with Grotto Network. In 2019, they released their new album “Mayflies” which was recorded/engineered/produced in London by Matt Wiggins (Glass Animals, London Grammar, Adele). The Bergamot is set to release a new album this summer (2022) alongside their award winning full length documentary “State of the Unity.”
