The Heritage Jazz Orchestra and Leslie Beukelman team up to present: Christmas Time is Here. Holiday music by, Count Basie, Vince Guaraldi and others.

The Heritage Jazz Orchestra was formed in 2016 at Andy’s Jazz Club with the purpose of digging into music from the finest writers from the past half-Century. Featuring many of the city’s most creative and active musicians, the ensemble is led by trombonist and composer Luke Malewicz, and performs throughout Chicago.

Leslie Beukelman began her performing career on the cement slab in front of her childhood home in Sandwich, Illinois. Or perhaps it was while her mom was 8 months pregnant playing the drums in DeKalb County’s own Opus V… Either way, music has been a part of her life since, well, forever. She is a Hey Nonny favorite and we are very excited to welcome her back!
