Though that was a real anonymous review for the debut production of Theatre Kid Rehab, it’s something comic Claire Jolie Goodman has heard for most of her life. Theatre Kid Rehab is a brutally honest (and incredibly relatable) look into the mind of a queer, autistic, and mentally ill young woman, set to all of your favorite showtunes. Full of dad jokes, trauma dumping, and too many high notes, it’s an unforgettable night of comedy that is sure to leave you laughing, crying, and maybe mildly aroused. Rated R
