About Sad House Guest:
Sad House Guest is a Chicago band that makes music because nothing else makes sense. Their music is a blend of folk-punk, indie-pop, and alt-rock that showcases stream-of-consciousness lyrics with energetic, easy-to-listen-to instrumentation. The band recently released their newest EP "Quarters", which is slightly calmer and more serious than its predecessors but with all the acoustic guitars, heavy drums, and wordy verses that make up a Sad House Guest tune. Since this project was thematically about money, they decided to spend no money making it, producing it completely DIY.
About Ur Mom:
Ur Mom is one of Chicago’s most exciting young rock bands. Loud, tight, and built for the stage. Blending the grit of blues, the groove of funk, and the fire of classic rock, they deliver high-energy sets that feel raw, fearless, and alive.
They’ve already shared stages with ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd at Ravinia, rocked the Miller Lite Stage at Summerfest, and earned a spot on the inaugural Boulder Roots Music Festival lineup. Momentum most bands chase for years.
Fresh off the release of their debut full-length album, Shrinks for Suburbanites, and a sold-out show at Chicago’s legendary Schubas, Ur Mom is hitting their stride fast. With a national spotlight ahead, including an appearance on Jam in the Van, this is a band on the rise.
